Rebecca joined GFMI in August 2003 after working more than three years with FT Knowledge/NYIF where she was their top Business Development Manager. An innovative business developer, she has procured talent, helped develop programs and built a client roster that includes Wall Street’s most notable firms, accounting groups, tech support firms and other financial industry related segments. A seasoned Wall Street veteran, Rebecca has over 24 years of financial markets experience. With a special focus on asset allocation, mutual funds, fixed income and retirement planning, she offers vast personal expertise to both her position at GFMI and to her clients. She has held the SEC Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Previously Rebecca was the Business Development Manager for First Empire Securities, an institutional bond house specializing in credit unions and banks. Here she researched and developed their Loan Participation Program, helping lending institutions maximize the potential of their loan portfolios. Prior, she was the Senior Vice President/Sales Manager for the UBS (formerly Paine Webber) Wall Street office complex, where she oversaw daily activities of 45 investment brokers.
As the Marketing Director for a municipal bond subsidiary of Tucker Anthony, Rebecca developed a Mutual Fund division for meeting the needs of high net worth clients. She began her financial career with David Lerner Associates, where she built an in-house marketing department and interfaced with the NASD for offering and compliance-related issues.
Rebecca is a graduate of University of South Florida, where she received her B.A. (cum laude) in Communications and also English Literature, and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
She currently runs a satellite office from western Pennsylvania, servicing clients worldwide.
